For me a photo of what surrounded me on a given day can bring back a rush of memories…the sounds, the temperature, the smells.
I took this shot from just outside my back door. I loved the contradiction between the blue sunny sky and the bare tree covered with ice…I felt warm and chilly all at once.
Spring Lake, New Jersey. I grew up in this area. I actually have a post card from 1918 with the same shot. Aaaaahhhh…memories!
I am a sucker for a beautiful sunset.
